Roller Derby Art Book

Although released a while ago, we’d be remiss in not mentioning and recommending this most excellent derby art book to our readers. Released last year by Schiffer Books, Roller Derby Art: Women, Wheels, and Wicked Fun is by Sherri Cullison Pfouts (Touretta Lynn/Naptown Roller Girls). The book contains “250 color images of promotional material, including fliers, handbills, logos, and posters promoting bouts for more than 50 leagues around the world, that convey the thrill of roller derby’s glamour, grit, and glory.”

A few of the plethora of participating artists include: Whiskey 7/Athena Barbital, Ivanna S. Pankin, Dave Cook, Ellen DeGenerate, Rev. Chad Wells, Joe Simko, Kris Notch, Lindsay Parker, Mitch O’Connell, Tom Klubens, and Michelle Pemberton.
