Reaching Hand - Threshold

Reaching Hand is a traditional hardcore band from Portugal. Their loud and fast repertoire can be likened to Youth of Today, Gorilla Biscuits, and Minor Threat. Similar to their predecessors, Reaching Hand’s music is heavily influenced by early punk styling. Sticking with tradition the songs on this five song EP are short and to the point (all but one clocking in under the two-minute mark). The shrill vocals are also delivered in true hardcore, throat shredding fashion. However, they’re not shrill like a young Ray, Walter or Ian, but more like a Sofia. Yes, Reaching Hand is a female fronted band.
