No Friends - No Friends

Winner of my coveted, though non-existent, authenticity award, No Friends have pressed the best '80s hardcore inspired album I've heard in years. You can expect two things to happen when you play this disc. First, nerdy boys in Black Flag shirts will come up to you and ask, "whoa is that a lost Minutemen demo?" and second, those same boys will follow up by saying, wow, that was a short album." Yes, as amazing and reminiscent as it is, No Friends is also so short that it'll be over before you even have a chance to take it all in. Luckily it's good enough to play three or four times in a row.
