Git Some’s maniacal dirt-rock musical experiment mixes elements of the Bronx, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Every Time I Die to produce a bare footed, riff-centric brand of hardcore rock ‘n roll that hits like a double barrel blast of #00 buckshot. The short, sharp, guttural shouts are reminiscent of early hardcore acts like Black Flag and Bad Brains. Moving in complete contrast are the guitars, which jam and groove in true southern rock fashion with loads of solos and down home riffage ala Molly Hatchet. It’s a must hear for dirty ears.
