If the album cover art doesn’t give it away the title and band’s name should. Combat Crisis’ Face the Crowd is undoubtedly a crust punk album, and a decent one at that. Many purists may say that we don’t need another Casualties, Unseen, or Anti-Flag, but when you think about all the goofy, poppy kid-crap that’s spoon-fed to the hungry masses under the moniker “punk rock”, the angry, crusty guys need all the help they can get. Pissed-off lyrics, raspy vocals, and gangshouts run amok with, speedy tempos, basement production, and heavy power chords. It’s a simple formula that gets the point across.
