The OSDA Women’s Championship is scheduled to be held on December 6, 2008 at the International Sports Center in Mt. Laurel, N.J.  The two top teams, the Penn Jersey She Devils Travel Team (Philadelphia, PA) and the South Jersey Derby Girls Travel Team (Deptford, NJ), will go head to head to win the Atkinson Cup.  Other esteemed awards will be given at the championship including the Judy Arnold Award for Female OSDA MVP and the Arnold Schoen Award for Male OSDA MVP.  All of the awards will be given, surprisingly, by those infamous skaters for which they are named.  If that wasn’t enough excitement, between periods of the championship game, there will also be a co-ed game contested in abbreviated form.  If you’re in the area, make sure you check it out.  It’s bound to be one of the roughest, toughest, and most fun games you have yet to see.
