The North Star Roller Girls are teaming up with the nationally-known Rogue Buddha Gallery in Minneapolis, Minn. for an art show and sale to benefit the local league. The show, entitled Jammers, Blockers & Pivots, conveys the influence of modern roller derby in art. The opening reception will be held on December 12th starting at 7pm and ending when the last body leaves. The exhibition runs until December 30th, giving you plenty of time to catch this highly anticipated event.

On display will be various works of artwork that are dedicated to derby from an array of amazing artists. A few of the participating artists include Dave Glass, Kali Ciesemier, Chris Park, Nick Alley, Whiskey7, Jon Langford, Danielle Spradling, and Kryzstof Nemeth. The exhibition, which is sponsored by Scion, is curated by Kevin Quandt in conjunction with the North Star Roller Girls.

If you're anywhere near the Minneapolis area, this will be a show not to miss. Not only will you get to see (and buy!) beautiful derby art, but you'll also get to help benefit the North Star Roller Girls. A win-win.
