From the official Oxnard Derby Dames site:
The Oxnard Derby Dames are committed to excellence in sportswomanship, creating fun and entertainment for the community, and fostering the sport of roller derby worldwide. Our goal is to develop exceptional athletic ability, and to promote goodwill amongst our skaters and in our community, and to represent Oxnard athletically on a national level. We won't stop until we are on ESPN and kids play with roller derby action figures!
ODD operates as a financially sustainable all-female banked track roller derby league that sponsors athleticism and camaraderie. ODD will pursue membership in the Old School Derby Association (OSDA). The OSDA “believes that it is possible to entertain and inspire a crowd with an aggressive, hard-skated Old School game. OSDA believes that the drawwas, is and should continue to be The Game. Pure and simple. No gimmicks - just the incredible skill of the skaters.”

Thanks for the support Fracture Magazine!
Thank you!!
where do they skate?!! The only team I have ever heard of in this area is the Ventura County Derby Darlin's
We are currently fundraising to build our banked track, when built will be in Oxnard. ODD skates with the lovely LA Derby Dolls when we can as well as the Pacific View Derby Vixens, which is also a Ventura County League at Skating Plus in Ventura. VCDD shares the spotlight with a number of talented leagues and roller girls.
