New WFTDA Rankings

WFTDA has released their newest rankings for teams in all four regions. There's not a whole lot of surprises in the new rankings. Referee Respect

The Isthmus Daily Page in Madison, Wisc. has an article on roller derby that actually turns its attention to the referees and not the rollergirls. Melissa Faliveno (aka Harlot Bronte of the Mad Rollin' Dolls) interviews four of the Mad Rollin' Dolls referees: Marshall Law, James Blond, The Gorram Reaver, and Reverend Riot. Also included is a video featuring footage shot by a ref helmet cam, which is truly one of the best perspectives you'll see that captures derby action.
